BILLING
NEW COMPLETE WEBSITE PROJECTS:

50/40/10

  • 50% retainer due prior to commencement of work upon signing of contract
  • 40% billed with the delivery of the initial website proof
  • 10% billed upon launch & completion of debugging

At our discrection a Monthly Installment Plan may be offered. If a monthly installment plan is offered and selected, client will be sent instructions and be required to set up automatic recurring monthly payments. Upon receipt of the first installment payment, work will commence. Client will be automatically charged every month on the same day of the month as initiated for the duration of the contract (12 months unless otherwise stated in original Quote).


HOURLY LABOR, CONTENT UPDATES, HOSTING MIGRATION AND OTHER WORK

For other hourly projects we bill with payment due prior to commencement of work. This is indicated in our Quote ‘Payment Terms’. Once a quote has been approved by a client we will invoice for the total amount due via PayPal. We accept all major forms of Credit / Debit cards, as well as Paypal payments.


CHANGE ORDERS:

Changes requested after the project has begun are subject to additional charges and require a written agreement/quote provided by Four Star Designs prior to initiating work. A minimum 1 hour will be billed for each change. Payment is required in advance to changes being performed.


CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellation of site hosting will result in a site being terminated at the end of the current month of service. No penalties or charges will be incurred for site hosting after cancellation. Cancellation of any other services agreed to will not be refundable. If monthly installments are opted for we reserve the right to assess the % of work complete and bill accordingly. All project files are considered the designers property until receipt of payment for work performed, at which time all files will be transferred to client and considered clients’ intellectual property.
